William O’Connell, CPA
Founder & Managing Partner
Bill O’Connell has spent over 30 years within church leadership. He has served as the Treasurer of local churches for over 25 years, and during that time has forged a reputation as an accomplished church financial professional. He has also served as a Deacon and Elder of the churches where he has been a member.
In his secular career, Bill was a founder and senior executive of two software companies, as well as the financial executive of a Boston based investment management firm. Bill also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Vision Service Plan (VSP) in Rancho Cordova, California.
Bill and his late wife, Annie, had been married for 51 years before her passing in early 2022. They have two daughters who are active in ministry and eight grandchildren. Bill can often be found in the summer playing a round of golf.
Kaitlin Spalsbury
Parnter, Payroll manager & Foursquare Advocate
Kaitlin serves as Wisdom's Payroll Supervisor and Foursquare Advocate. Prior to joining Wisdom Kaitlin provided accounting and reporting support at the Northeast Foursquare District office. Her responsibilities included accounting for the district office and providing accounting and reporting support for large and small local churches. Her district experience provides her with a rich leadership-view of church finances. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Transformational Ministry and Bible from Life Pacific College in San Dimas, California.
Kaitlin is an ordained Foursquare minister. When she is not working with Wisdom clients she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and often can be found creating pieces of art. Kaitlin currently resides in the Pacific Northwest.
Allison Michaud, CPA
Partner, accounting & Tax
Allison serves as Wisdom’s Tax & Accounting Partner. Allison is a CPA and began her accounting career working for a Big 4 Accounting firm, where she concentrated on individual and business taxation. She has a Master of Accounting degree from Wingate University and an undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University. She is a member of the AICPA and the NC Board of CPAs.
Allison met her husband, Ryan, in college, and have three children. She found a solution for fulfilling both her love of family and continued professional career coming to Wisdom Over Wealth.
Marlene S.
Office Manager
Marlene began her career in the Financial Services Industry where she worked the Short Term Trading Desk of a large insurance company, handling transactions with major Wall Street firms. Immediately before joining Wisdom she worked in small businesses where she developed small business accounting insight and an in-depth understanding of QuickBooks and other business software. She has served as the Office Manager and Wisdom team member since 2008. In addition to being Wisdom’s Office Manager, Marlene provides Stewardship Service support to clients, software support and guidance to the Wisdom team.
Marlene has been married to her high-school sweetheart for over 30 years, has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She enjoys cooking and baking, reading and quilting in her spare time, and spending time with family.
Krystal S.
Onboarding Manager, Payroll, & Accounting associate
Prior to joining the Wisdom Team in 2018, Krystal started her accounting journey through small businesses and non-profits. While she has always loved numbers, she wanted to use her talents to further the Kingdom of God. Through a huge leap of faith she stepped into specific church accounting at Wisdom Over Wealth.
Krystal is currently the Onboarding Manager at Wisdom, helping all new clients join the Wisdom community, as well as a tax, payroll, and accounting associate.
With God’s prompting, Krystal has moved from Coast to Coast with her husband, children, and dog. Krystal is a Life Pacific University graduate and an Ordained Pastor through the Foursquare denomination. Currently Krystal serves on the core team at the Foursquare owned camp, Old Oak Ranch, where you can catch her running the zipline, high ropes, and paintball courses.
Meghan H.
Security Manager, Payroll & accounting associate
Prior to joining Wisdom, Meghan worked in the Financial Industry for 18 years. Her experience ranged from daily branch operations, collection account management, lending and electronic services. Meghan has served her Church in a variety of roles, such as council member, Bookkeeper, Corporate Secretary and Treasurer.
Meghan’s past and present roles are a strong addition to the Wisdom team.
She and her husband Chris, married since 2002, reside in Fort Mill, SC. They remain avid Boston sports fans who enjoy the outdoors and spending time with friends.
Sharon F.

Before joining the Wisdom staff in 2011, Sharon had over 25 years of experience working in and with churches in both accounting and ministry roles. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida. She specializes in Stewardship Services as well as training church staff.
When not working with Wisdom clients Sharon enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her six grandchildren.
Lisa K.
accounting & Tax Associate
Prior to joining Wisdom’s family, Lisa spent 16 years in management positions within various organizations and corporations. She brings with her strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in report development and analysis. Throughout her management career, Lisa has touched on all aspects of financial and accounting responsibilities including payroll, AP and AR functions, auditing, and financial analysis.
Lisa has earned a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, and a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from DeVry University under Keller’s Graduate School of Management in Illinois. She is working to finish her CPA certification.
Lisa continues to faithfully serve as the Treasurer of her church, Cedarville First Assembly of God, in Cedarville, Arkansas. She has been married to her husband, Jerry, since 2003, and has two wonderful boys.
Laura Q.

Prior to joining Wisdom Over Wealth, Laura worked in the finance industry at one of the largest banks. Laura earned her finance degree while preparing individual tax returns. She is a devoted member of her church and devoted mother to two young boys.
When not working at Wisdom, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and doing puzzles with her sons. Laura and her family are located in Pennsylvania where they spend as much time outdoors as possible. Whether it be taking a hike, tubbing down the river, or building snowmans.
